In the Community

We are always looking for unique ways to give back to the community in which we live, work and play. Some of our past projects and contributions have included partnering with the following organizations:

The Annual Tom Baker Cancer Centre Golf Classic
We love being a part of this 15-year-old tradition held at the Heritage Pointe Golf Club in Calgary. So far, over $1.9 million dollars have been raised toward research and patient care.

Revving Up for Kids with Cancer Society: 2006, 2007 & 2008 
As a platinum sponsor of this 4-day Motorcycle Adventure through Alberta and BC, our team at Divine had a blast being part of such an important cause.

Mary Dover Project 
The YWCA constructed the Mary Dover House in the early 1900’s to provide safe and affordable housing for women and children. At Divine, we were proud to get involved with the expansion and renovation of this fine home in 2005.

Bob Ward Residence Project
The Bob Ward Residence provides affordable housing for people with mental illness and brain injuries. It contains 61 units including a special unit for brain injury rehabilitation. We were fortunate to be part of the team that completed the project in October 2003.

Calgary Home Builders Foundation 
On a “per-project” basis, our team at Divine donates labour, materials and/or dollars to help this foundation build affordable shelters for homeless and disadvantaged people in Calgary.
